NRCB inspectors conduct facility inspections when responding to complaints and operator self-reports. Inspectors also track groundwater and surface water conditions at confined feeding operations and follow up on permit conditions such as water well monitoring requirements.

Enforcement orders, emergency orders, and compliance directives for unauthorized construction are posted on the NRCB website until they are complied with. They also become part of the record of an operation.
