Operators are responsible for complying with the conditions attached to their permit. Permit conditions that exceed the requirements of the Agricultural Operation Practices Act (AOPA) may be included with a permit if the operator committed in the application to uphold the conditions. Operators who do not comply with their permit conditions will be subject to enforcement under the NRCB’s Compliance and Enforcement Policy.
Operators may apply to have a condition amended or rescinded by submitting a permit amendment application. The approval officer will review the request and will issue a decision granting or denying the request, with reasons. If the request is granted the permit will be amended.
