Application received: Snake Lake Reservoir Expansion Project

On April 3, 2025, Eastern Irrigation District (the proponent) submitted its application to the NRCB for the Snake Lake Reservoir Expansion Project. This is a reviewable project under the Natural Resources Conservation Board Act.

Under this legislation, an application to the NRCB is submitted in the form of an environmental impact assessment. The NRCB will now review the application for any deficiencies. Once the proponent has addressed all deficiencies, the application will be deemed complete by Alberta Environment and Protected Areas and the NRCB will commence its public interest review of the project.
