NRCB Response to COVID-19

As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve rapidly, the NRCB has taken steps to ensure the safety of our staff and stakeholders, while continuing to deliver on our mandates.

Effective March 19, 2020, and until further notice, the NRCB has closed its offices and all employees are working remotely. We will continue to process confined feeding applications and respond to complaints, however staff will take additional precautions when conducting site visits or inspections. Non-essential site visits or meetings will be rescheduled.

Please continue to contact the NRCB for information regarding reviews of proposed major natural resource projects under the Natural Resources Conservation Board Act, and for the regulation of confined feeding operations in Alberta under the Agricultural Operation Practices Act. 

The NRCB will continue to provide updates as the situation develops.
